What was actually in the way
Community organisations get a website built for them once, by someone who then graduates. What survives is whatever the next volunteer can operate.

What I chose, and why
01Real submissions, real database
Forms write to a production database rather than sending email into a void, so the organisation owns its own records.

- I am on the design and IT team, not the sole builder, and a redesign of this site is currently mid-flight and not yet reviewed by the organisation. I am describing what is live, not what is in progress.
