I build theunglamorous half.

I am an Information Systems student at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana in Yogyakarta, in my seventh semester, writing my thesis on Sowan.id. I did not choose the programme out of passion — I chose it out of necessity, and then found something in it worth being stubborn about.
The pattern in my work was not planned. It showed up on its own. A marketplace where elderly people are the paid experts. A bulletin system for church volunteers who were coordinating a ministry through group chats. A decision game for high-school students on school wifi that does not work. A VR beach for people who cannot make the trip. In every one of them, the interesting problem was not the feature list — it was whether the person at the other end could actually operate the thing.
That makes accessibility and data safety the parts I care about most, and the parts I can actually show evidence for. When I redesigned the church system, I measured the contrast of every text element in production instead of claiming it was accessible. When I audited my own workshop game, I found that I had left participant data readable by anyone holding a public key — and the honest version of that story is on this site, because leaving it out would make the rest of it less believable.
This summer I chaired a 59-student international service programme with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which is mostly an exercise in the thing nobody teaches: getting a large group of tired people to the right room at the right time. The same year I presented in competition finals more than once, mostly online and in English — a track win at the Mantle Turing Test Hackathon, 2nd place at the BMC #12 international final, 1st at a national business plan competition.

(02) How it went
The short version
Three Web3 builds, one through to Demo Day
For the Indonesia Web3 Hackathon (228 submissions): Lencana, the team credential app I designed the front for, made the final 10 and pitches at Demo Day on 31 October in Yogyakarta. Cermin Saku, my allowance a contract refuses to pay when the position is not safe, reached the top 15 but not the final 10. DRIFT, my on-chain risk guard, did not make the cut.
Second place at an international business plan final
Co-presented Emitra live, online and in English, at the BMC #12 grand final hosted by Politeknik Negeri Bali. Fifteen finalist teams, three prizes; we took 2nd.
Track winner at an international Web3 hackathon
Cult of the Digital Oracle won the Consumer & Viral DApps track of the Mantle Turing Test Hackathon, one of six track winners. On a team of three, I made the UI assets and the docs and gave the six-minute pitch.
Chaired a 59-student service programme, and shipped the software for it
Overall chair of KKN Tematik STEM 2026 with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and direct liaison to their supervisors. Vision screening reached 2,029 pupils across 7 schools in July. In August my group ran the LEAP 2036 workshop I built, one session per class, across two high schools.
Audited my own live system and found participant data exposed
A self-audit on LEAP 2036 showed the public key could read every participant row. I closed it — reads moved behind a server function, database constraints added — applied it to production, and re-verified. The same reasoning shaped the Sowan backend a month later: never create the key that can leak.
Sowan won a national business plan competition
1st place at KSE Juara national level, announced 2 May. Top 15 at EURECA, Top 10 at UKRIDA Solve-It. I built the platform for the team. The thesis version of the backend followed, written on the assumption that the browser cannot be trusted with anything.
First industry internship
Fullstack developer at Synapse Labs, an industry collaboration between AFED and BPD HIPMI DIY. February to May 2026.
Research assistant — VR for people excluded from tourism
Assistant to the head of the Information Systems programme. Built 3D assets and scenes for an accessible VR beach experience, then taught community members how to play it.
Ran the forum where students speak and the faculty has to answer
Coordinator of the Aspirations Division at BPM FTI. Three "FTI Mendengar" forums, 50+ students in direct dialogue with the faculty leadership, followed through to concrete changes.
Started Information Systems out of necessity, not passion
I did not arrive with a plan. What I had was the ability to adapt fast and a stubbornness about finishing things. That turned out to be enough to build on.
